Going beyond the neighborly cup of sugar, Kitchen Share is a place where community members can borrow equipment and share in the joy of processing, preserving, and serving food. We offer appliances, preserving tools, catering equipment, and more. We are happy to be a part of the Southeast Uplift coalition, and SE Uplift acts as our financial sponsor. We are located in Saint David of Wales Episcopal Church, where we have our own entrance.

How To Join

Anyone over the age of 18, who lives in Portland may borrow from us.

Visit us during open hours and sign up, or request a membership here. Bring a photo ID the first time you borrow something. If your ID doesn’t display your current address, please also bring an official document or piece of mail bearing your name and address.

We ask for a one time donation upon joining but no one is turned away for lack of funds. The vast majority of these donations go directly to purchasing the tools that members want most. You can pay via cash when you arrive or below via paypal.

One Time Registration Fee (we recommend $10-30)
