Kitchen Share is a network of kitchen tool libraries dedicated to promoting sustainability, equity, and self-sufficiency for residents of Portland, Oregon. Kitchen Share builds community through the sharing of equipment, skills, traditions, and food.
In addition to providing kitchen tools for loan, Kitchen Share hosts workshops and skillshares, participates in community events, and offers recipes and other helpful information in the "Resources" section of our website.
Who Can Join
If you live within our boundaries and you're over 18 years old, become a member of one of our libraries! See the maps of the two areas we serve in Northeast and Southeast Portland.
How To Join
Visit us during open hours and sign up.
Bring a photo ID. If your ID doesn't display your current address, please also bring an official document or piece of mail bearing your name and address.
We ask for a one time donation upon joining ($10-$30) but no one is turned away for lack of funds. The vast majority of these donations go directly to purchasing the tools that members want most.
